Passionate about renewal
I have always been intrigued by old houses (I grew up on a farm in an old Four Square). Adding to this fixation – I appreciate the value of old growth wood; the solidity of plaster & lathe and the longevity of old-world craftsmanship. Turning an old undesirable structure into an energy-efficient, beautiful place someone desires to live in is an incredible feeling. Renovating older structures is incredibly challenging; requires creative solutions and is the ultimate form of recycling.
